We are the Ballroom and Latin American Dance Society (BALADS for short!). We are based at the Guild of Students at the University of Birmingham. Our society welcomes anyone who has an interest in learning to dance- whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned competitor. We hold regular social and competition-focused classes and practice sessions throughout the year. We also do fun socials and hold university-wide events. For members who are interested, we regularly attend dance competitions on the university circuit- including the annual Inter-varsity Dance Competition at Blackpool. In the next few weeks, we will be showing you what our society has to offer.
