Weekly Timetable (w/c 13th March)

Hi everyone!

Thank you to everyone who came with us yesterday to Bristol. It was great having you there dancing with us and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. One last thank you to our amazing TCs Catherine and Gemma for all the hard work they’ve done sorting out the comps and the team this year.

Here is the timetable for this week:

Monday 13^th:

Social class: with Xav (6 – 7 pm, Underground, £2)

Rock ‘n’ roll with Craig (7 – 8 pm, Underground, £4)

Tuesday 14^th:

Private lessons with Kevin (from 11 am, Underground)

Beginners ballroom with Kevin (6 – 7 pm, room tbc, £4)

Novice ballroom with Kevin (7 – 8 pm, room tbc, £4)

Intermediate ballroom with Kevin (8 – 9 pm, room tbc, £4)

I’m just waiting for confirmation about a room swap to Amos room for the group classes. I’ll post as soon as I hear back.

Wednesday 15^th:

AGM!!

The AGM will be in the Teaching and Learning Building (brown building with the big windows just behind the library), room 109, starting at 19:00.

For those of you who joined the society after our last AGM, this is where we vote in our committee for next year, so please turn up to the meeting, particularly if you are a student member of the society.

🪩Social secretary

If you are interested in any of the positions, please ask the current committee members for information on what the role you’d like would involve.

Voting info: according to guild rules you may vote if you are a current UoB student with BALADS membership. We need at least 20 members present for the vote to be valid.

We absolutely MUST have a president secretary and treasurer to be allowed to run as a guild-affiliated society, and we need at least 1 team captain to be able to run the team.

We will be going to sportsnight after the AGM, theme and pres tbd.

Open practice (7 – 10 pm, Murray Learning Centre UG06)
