Weekly Timetable (w/c 30th January)
Hi everyone!
Really really well done to everyone who competed yesterday with us at Birmingham comp! It was really amazing seeing you dance. Also thank you very much to everyone who turned up to support us and help us out with everything, as well as Kerry and Kevin, our comperes, who did a brilliant job. Final thank you to Catherine and Gemma, our amazing TCs. Without every single one of you there’s no way the day would have run as well as it did.
Here is the timetable for this week:
Monday 30th:
Social class with Ellie: Boston Two-step (6 – 7 pm, Underground, £2)
Boston Two-step is the sequence dance for northerns on Saturday, so we’d highly recommend coming to this class if you’re going.
Rock ‘n’ roll with Craig (7 – 8 pm, Underground, £4)
Tuesday 31st:
Private lessons with Kevin (Underground)
Beginners ballroom with Kevin (6 - 7 pm, Underground, £4)
Novice ballroom with Kevin (7 - 8 pm, Underground, £4)
Intermediate ballroom with Kevin (8 - 9 pm, Underground, £4)
Wednesday 1st:
We’re trying to gauge interest in a trip to Dilshads at the moment. If you’re interested, please like the message in the BALADS chat or comment below so we have an idea of numbers.
Thursday 2nd:
Offbeat (7 – 8 pm, Amos room)
This may be extended from 7 to 9 instead but it’s out of my hands at the moment (see below).
Friday 3rd:
Open practice (6 – 10 pm, Rosa Parks Room)
Saturday 4th:
Open practice (1 – 5 pm, Amos Room)
Info for northerns:
· Doors open 8:30 am
· First ballroom round 9:15 am
· First latin round 2:15 pm
· Expected end 9:30 pm

The guild’s booking system is currently not working/updating, so I have no way of booking rooms or changing rooms until it gets fixed. As soon as it is fixed, I will see if I can get us better rooms for the practices. Until then, this is what we have to work with.
