New coach announcement

Hi everyone,

We're excited to reveal that our new dance coach is... Jackie Conway.

We're extremely excited to work with her and believe that she will be a wonderful addition to our society. Here is a tiny description!

"Hi everyone, I’m Jackie Conway and I’m going to be your ballroom and Latin coach. I have been teaching for 50 years and run my own dance school near Wolverhampton. I am a fellow and examiner in ballroom, latin and classical sequence for the UKA. I have trained many open competitors, from beginner to professional and have taught University Dancesport teams for over 18 years and teaching is my passion. I also judge a lot of open competitions, mainly on the UK Sunday circuit, but also Internationally too.

I’m married, my husband can't dance lol. I have 1 son Matthew, who plays rugby. I like to drink peroni or gin and love food.

I am really looking forward to starting work with you all next week, and attending the competitions supporting the team. Can’t wait to meet you all. Make sure you come over and say Hi. See you Tuesday."

For those who have been involved in the society for a while, the next few weeks will be quite different but I hope we will have your full support!
