Birmingham Comp 2024!!🎉🎉

The comp you've all been waiting for has arrived!! We hope you're all looking forward to it and ready to wow us all with amazing dancing!
Here is an outline of all of the details for the comp:

Standard entries: 6th of January (23:59)
Late entries: 13th of January (23:59)

Saturday 27th of January
Doors open: 9:00 am
First round: 9:30 am
Expected finish 20:00 pm
(Rock 'n' roll and latin expected times will depend on number of entries, however my best guess is rock 'n' roll at 13:30 and latin at 14:30)
🚂Travel🚂
We will be taking the train to the comp. As far as I am aware there is no planned strike that weekend so we should be fine.
The current plan is to take the train from University station at 06.35 to New Street where we will change to the 07.01 to Stoke-on-Trent station (about 8 mins walk from the venue).
We'll make a separate post with travel details later.
💰Payments🫰
Competitor: £18
Rock 'n' roll and Solo only: £8.50
Late entry fee: +£5
Spectator (in advance): £5
Spectator (on the door): £10
❗Event rules❗
Beginners is the only restricted dress category
New partnerships MAY be formed for same-sex
Inter/advanced will be run as a 3-dance qualifier due to time constraints
Ex-students may compete in all events.

The other person in the partnership fills in the form with just the general, travel and medical info.
